The system connects all companies to the same marine outfall to ensure better control of discharges. In the future, a deeper outfall will also allow ships with greater draughts to enter.

The logistics services area offers substantial added value. It’s located next to the container terminal and the La Boella intermodal terminal, very close to the LAZ (logistics activities zone) and the south chemical estate. The container scanner and the border inspection point are also located there.

Multifunctional terminal for all types of intermodal transport from sea or land. Open to companies in the region.
A major multi-purpose and multi-client terminal in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula, bringing the Port of Tarragona closer to the central hinterland of the Iberian Peninsula. It handles the primary national, European and international container and general cargo traffic flows and strengthens intermodal rail transport (sea and land) to and from the hinterland and extending it towards Madrid and central Spain.
The new logistics activities zone (LAZ) will cover 100 hectares and offer road and rail connections, direct access from the intermodal terminal and the container terminal, and an industrial area for all types of logistics and port activities.
